This course will provide you with the skills to work as an early childhood educator in a centre-based service or family day care and give you the foundation to pursue further study at the Diploma level. Through purposefully designed practical activities, you will develop the skills to care for babies and toddlers, create educational play environments and communicate with children. You will also learn to use the Early Years Learning Framework to guide the development of learning activities for children. This combination of up-to-date knowledge and practice will allow you to enter the workforce as a creative and engaged early childhood educator.
